The sleek and versatile Latitude S1 combines the safety of a snow helmet with Sena’s Bluetooth intercom technology. The speakers and a microphone are built right into the ear pads, so you can communicate with up to three other Sena Bluetooth headsets via Bluetooth intercom, all without the need for any cell phone/data connections!
ADVANCEMENTS IN SNOW HELMET DESIGN
Sena designed the Latitude S1 with safety, convenience and comfort in mind. The helmet is composed of a durable ABS shell with an EPS liner. It’s certified by both the European Committee for Standardization (EN 1077B) and the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM F2040-18) for impact rating. The adjustable airflow system of the Latitude S1 lets you regulate the amount of air you feel as you’re shredding down the mountain. The integrated goggle retention securely straps your favorite pair of snow goggles to the helmet. Its interior mesh liner and black velvet padding keep your head warm and comfortable.
COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR FRIENDS ON THE SLOPES
The Bluetooth 4.1-powered intercom works over a 1km range. It operates utilizing a large, glove-friendly jog dial positioned on the left ear-pad; perfectly suited for use even with the thickest of cold protection on your hands. Up to four skiers can connect and communicate over the standard four-way intercom. The helmet is also capable of two-way HD Intercom, enabling a pair of users to receive ultra-rich High Definition audio in their communications.
Latitude S1 offers more than just intercom communication. You can also pair your smartphone to the snow helmet to access phone features, like listening to music or podcasts, hearing GPS navigation, and taking phone calls. No longer will you have to worry about missing a call or fumbling with your phone when you can answer right from your helmet! On top of this, multi-language voice prompts from the helmet itself keep you informed of statuses, such as the helmet’s battery life and intercom pairings.
With even more ways to control the Latitude S1, Sena provides users with the Sena Outdoor App for both iPhones and Androids. Control the Latitude S1 with the convenience of a mobile app; snowboarders and skiers can pair with other Sena Bluetooth-enabled devices, connect to their smartphone, and even control music. Now you can save paired headsets and connect to other headsets by simply scanning QR codes when you use Smart Intercom Pairing.
